Apprentice Program

The Apprentice Program

Apprentices are indentured  for five years within the program: each works for a contractor and earns an increasing amount of pay for each year of indenture. While working with the contractor, the apprentice attends school two nights per week for the five years. At the end of the program and after completing the state required testing, the apprentice becomes a fully qualified journeyman.

The apprentice has learned the skills necessary to his chosen trade and has had the opportunity to apply these skills while on the job.

We take new apprentices every year and we accept new applications each spring. If you are interested in this program click on the link below  and mail the completed application to: PO Box 6375, Rochester, MN 55903.

If you have any further questions regarding the Apprenticeship Program, please contact our Apprenticeship Coordinator, Keith Bowe 507-536-0304.
